STEP 1: REGISTER

  • Go to Shopify, Look for the “Sign Up” or “Get Started” button on the Shopify homepage. Click on it.
  • Enter Your Email: Provide a valid email address that you want to associate with your Shopify account.
  • Create a Password: Choose a secure password for your account.

STEP 2: NAME YOUR STORE

Choosing a name for your store is an important step, as it’s often the first thing customers notice. Your name should be Unique, Relevant, and Memorable.

STEP 3: ADD AN ADDRESS FOR SALES TAX AND PAYMENTS

Add the Current address of your home. 

STEP 4: START CUSTOMIZING YOUR DESIGN!

You are greeted by a basic dashboard upon registering. Now for the exciting part: the design of your store.

STEP 12: INCLUDE SIZE, COLOR, AND OTHER OPTIONS

STEP 13: CREATE YOUR DOMAIN NAME

STEP 14: BUY YOUR DOMAIN THROUGH SHOPIFY

Shopify allows you to see what domain names are available and purchase them immediately if you don’t already have one. You can simply add your existing domain name if you already have one through another seller (such as GoDaddy).

STEP 15: ADD A PAYMENT METHOD

Accepting payments was once one of the most difficult tasks when establishing an online store. Fortunately, Shopify also simplifies this. Select your preferred payment method first by going to Settings > Payments.

Although Shopify Payments allows you to accept credit cards directly (without using PayPal as an intermediary) it is still the easiest option for many people.
